Eileen Hagerty served as co-chair of the MCLE’s 13th Annual School Law Conference, held on May 3, 2013 (http://www.mcle.org/program-calendar/). She has served in this role each year since 2010. As part of the all-day Conference, Ms. Hagerty participated in a panel discussion, “Education Law Update 2013,” which reviewed developments in education (including special education) law during the past year. Daniel Heffernan participated in a panel discussion “Grading the Teacher: What You Need to Know About Educator Evaluation Systems” which reviewed the new Massachusetts comprehensive educator evaluator systems to be implemented beginning with the 2013-2014 school year.
