In keeping with our general mission as a firm, the litigation practice at Kotin, Crabtree & Strong, LLP is a broad-based practice stressing cost-effective and experienced staffing of cases. Our trial attorneys have extensive experience before state and federal courts and administrative agencies in both civil and criminal matters. Several have published books and articles on issues in civil, criminal and administrative litigation, and participate as faculty members in continuing legal education programs.
We represent individuals, businesses and not-for-profit organizations, both as plaintiffs and defendants, in a wide range of matters. Some of our work supports our other areas of practice, including business, special education, intellectual property and employment. However, our practice is unusual among general practice firms in including personal injury, product liability, professional malpractice, consumer law, and criminal defense work.
In litigation as in other areas, we emphasize giving practical and thorough advice, avoiding conflict for conflict's sake, and minimizing where possible the financial and emotional cost to our clients. We take pride in the fact that some of the best results we have obtained for our clients, both corporate and individual, have come through mediation rather than trial.
